Rukiya Jemmott
Systemic psychotherapist, Trainer, Consultant and Supervisor
Your day to day lives, jobs, and/or relationships can create pockets of stress and at times can leave you feeling weighed down, overloaded, unsure. I provide a space for you to come and empty your pockets, look at what you are carrying and consider how that may help or hinder your movement forward. A space to lessen your load.
I am a London born black British Caribbean cis gendered woman and a systemic psychotherapist. I have over thirty years experience of working with people and I specialise in emotional well being, team dynamics, and anti-racist practice.
I work therapeutically with individuals, couples, families and organisations.
I work with theatres across the UK. If you are a cast or cast member, part of a front of house team, stage management team etc then I provide services that may be helpful to you.
I support companies and organisations where I work with you as a team in relation to team dynamics focusing on areas of difficulty that have arisen or areas where change is needed.
I am also a teacher and trainer, teaching at the Tavistock and Portman Clinic. In addition I provide teaching for various adult education institutions as well as facilitating training days for health services, education, and social care across the country.
